My name is Jamie, and I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, along with many other things. I hold my family and friends at the forefront of my life and love fiercely and unapologetically. I believe in being real in both good times and bad times.

My passion for women’s clothing and accessories started from a dark time in my life. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, going through treatment, and having a bilateral mastectomy, I HATED shopping for clothes because nothing fit my new body, and the experience was exhausting and heartbreaking at times. That was until I found LuLaRoe.

LuLaRoe didn’t magically fit my new body or change the difficulty I had with that, BUT I was treated as a human and helped by an amazing retailer who found ways to support me while I navigated through shopping. I was treated as a person with feelings and specific needs, not a number or a burden in a dressing room.

My closet quickly filled up with LuLaRoe, and my confidence grew. I was comfortable in my body again. I decided to become a retailer to help spread that same confidence and care to other women. The Twisted Owl was born with the mission of not pushing sales but empowering women and building a community of friends from all walks of life.

I am beautifully broken and delightfully twisted. My door is always open, and there is always room at my table.
